Ryan Keilty

Reforestation – Crew Leader

I’m a computer nerd with a love of the outdoors. I played every sport under the sun growing up and enjoy pushing myself and motivating those around me. I’m currently graduating from the University of British Columbia Okanagan with a degree in Computer Science and a minor in Economics. I enjoy skiing and rock climbing in my spare time and love to discuss both at length. My tree planting experience has been nothing short of incredible thus far and I am very excited to begin a new chapter of it this season. This job has a funny way of pushing you to your limits and beyond but each new season is an opportunity to embrace the challenge and find out who you truly are!

What Planters Can Expect From Me

I’m a very easygoing, laid-back individual who is always going to try to meet you at whatever level you’re at. I’m organized, professional, and always on time (especially with more trees!). My planters can expect to have someone behind them for every step of their journey, through the good, the bad and the schnarby.

What I Expect From Planters

I truly believe that tight crews motivate each other and are able to help each other through the tough days so I expect people who plant for me to be supportive and give a consistent effort on a daily basis. Honesty, resilience, and open-mindedness are key factors for me as these are tools to help not only yourself grow as a planter, but also those around you.
