Our Opportunity

Spectrum is seeking Timber Cruisers for our 2022 Timber Development season.

The ideal candidate would bring at least 1 year of experience in Timber Cruising as the lead cruiser. You would be experienced in the development of cruise plans, the ability to enter cruise data, and fundamental knowledge of the 2020 Timber Cruising Manual. Excellent decision-making skills, organization and accountability in all work is important to you. Safety is an overriding priority.


  • Demonstrate ability to both work independently and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience operating ATVs and pick-up trucks safely in various road conditions will be considered an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasked environment.
  • 2+ years of post-secondary education in forestry or a related field is an asset.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and clean Driver’s Abstract.
  • Valid Level 1 First Aid Ticket and Transportation Endorsement.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
