Eric Nijboer
Operations Director
Eric has been with Spectrum since 2007 and has focused his efforts primarily on invasive species management and fuel modification/wildfire risk reduction throughout Alberta and British Columbia. Eric has graduated from Field Technician to Operations Director during this period.
He has experience in many of the service lines offered by the Company, including industrial vegetation management, wildfire risk reduction, mosquito control, silviculture, reforestation, bark beetle survey and control and reclamation operations.
Eric is a Registered Professional Biologist in both Alberta and BC (RPBio, P.Biol.), and carries a B.Sc. in Biology and Chemistry from Brock University with a focus on Plant Biotechnology. He is also the current Chair of the Invasive Species Council of British Columbia (ISCBC).
He enjoys spending his free time managing his hobby farm and wetting a line while exploring the north coast of BC.
