Dean started his forestry career in 1992 with Bugbusters, one of Spectrum’s parent companies.
From 2001 to 2014 Dean was able to further enhance his operational forestry skills while working for Canadian Forest Products in Vanderhoof, BC where he undertook a variety of progressively more challenging roles in silviculture, planning, permitting, certification, harvesting, and ultimately in operations management. Dean oversees the day-to-day operations and management of Spectrum.
Dean brings knowledge and expertise in forestry operations management. He holds a diploma in Forest Technology from Malaspina University College and is a Registered Professional Forester, (RPF). Dean is a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI) and currently holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) designation.
Dean lives in Prince George with his wife and daughter.
